Why Bother?

Long ago I had listened to many of Henry Rollins shows on KCRW. But I started again somewhat recently, and have been listening religiously ever since. I can say for sure that I have not missed a show since #587 which I believe aired on 2020-06-28. I am in fact listening to this weeks show, for the second time, #636, as I write this.

I can NOT overstate how much this show improves my life every week. It is a constant source of new music for me, and just pure listening enjoyment. It is always an auditory journey for me, and I feel compelled to share it with whomever will listen.

Lately I end up listening to each show more than once, and for whatever reason at different times, different songs really resonate with me. So this is just an attempt at documenting all the great music I find out about from listening every week. (I actually do keep track)

You can always check the show notes from his show, to find great information about every song played and tons more.

So to answer the question, why? I feel obligated to give credit where credit is due. Also, I’m just the kind of person that likes to keep track of things.
